How much do you earn ?

I’m 25 ...... My Basic is 26K but my OTE for this year is due to be about 51K-ish.... Depending on results for November/ December
I work inrecruitment which is long hours

£51k at 25 eh? VERY impressive mate. I hope you treat yourself on a regular basis! The car I could buy with that income!!

I get taxed to within an inch of my life!!!!! :o(
I am at home with my parents and saving for a deposit as we speak ......

Fuckers aren't they with the tax. My bro is in the high earnings bracket down in Poole and he fucking hates seeing the amount of tax he pays disappear from his wage slip. He is just fortunate enough to A) be able to afford the tax to go out, and B) be in a position where in a £650k house, they are only mortgaged for about £25k due to being savvy when he and his wife sold their houses up here.

I am trying to buy my own place but the deposit is a killer and the monthly payments are HUGE for one person!!!
Some months I have my basic to live on then I get a huge lump of commission and I have tended to just spend it! :o(
Makes me a tad sick about how much of it I have spent on pointless things!!

Fuck it mate, you're only 25. Spending your commission is a god-given right at that age! You're doing it right though, staying at home and saving. What you after? Apartment or house?
