I don't want anything whatsoever. Took one for the team lads, took one for the fookin team!

I've also said this to The War Office this year. I don't give a flying fuck about receiving presents , money's tight at the minute.
As long as the little 'un and 'Her Highness' are sorted out , that's all that matters.

The doctors at The Christie gave me what I wanted for a Christmas present, for last year, this year and hopefully a fair few more Christmas's to come.

The present of life is priceless mate, have a happy christmas!

Could be one of the most contradictory posts ever?

I bet £50 is fuck all compared to most. It's a token gift in a way. I get annoyed at people who think they need to spend a fortune on their other half & their kids in a pathetic attempt to prove how much they love them or how good a spouse/parent they are.

what makes you think that spending a lot of money is the ONLY way these people show love

Edit - Bluetonium said it well.

I hope it's a lot more that a fair few. Puts all this spending nonsense into perspective.

On a similar note I was asked what I wanted for Fathers day this year. I said I wanted the girls - aged 2,6 and 9 - to make my breakfast and bring it in to me whilst I watched tv in peace for an hour! Not bothered about a 'present' as such just having my girls doing that was all I really wanted. The other half kept saying about going out for something to eat - she couldn't get it that all I wanted was my girls making my breakfast.

Eventually got it through and got my wish.

On reflection I should have gone out ;-)

Got a £50 tattoo voucher towards my sleeve as well - so far I've had to add another £400 to it and still only have 2/3 of a lower arm done!!!

Very Little

With 5 kids 3 grandkids and assorted son in laws me and the missus are way down the pecking order when it comes to gifts although i will prob nip out tomorrow and get het a little something before i start to prepare dinner the the above rabble on christmas day.
