I bet £50 is fuck all compared to most. It's a token gift in a way. I get annoyed at people who think they need to spend a fortune on their other half & their kids in a pathetic attempt to prove how much they love them or how good a spouse/parent they are.

But could be alot compared to others too. Just seemed odd to put the amount you spent, then say its arsey to measure your love in monetary terms. I've spent £200 anyway, which means I love my mrs 3 times more than you do. ;-)

I had a decent month so I love my mrs 5 times as much as you fella. Holiday to Cuba for a couple of weeks at the end of Jan.

Though I spent the same on myself as well, but I do adore me quite a lot.

Then just a couple of things for her to open needed last minute.

On another note, i got my 2 god-children something from the City store on Market st, when they asked 'would you like them gift wrapped' without a 2nd thought i said yes. I didn't realise until i went back to pick them up that they had charged me £4 to wrap 2 items!!!! Robbing bastards!!
