German season ends same day as the English season: 21st may with their Cup final Bayern v Dortmund. i don't know if they have any post season obligations

I think Pellegrini's contract expires on the 30th June 2016, but I would have thought that both City, Pellegrini, Bayern, Ancellotti would all like to get a head start and move on asap so i was wondering if Pep might be seen at City before the end of May? The players will probably go their separate ways very quickly but presumably he'll want to check out the training ground, academy and talk to the staff, initiate reviews about injuries etc

Don't know but the club need to offer him a full refund on any holiday he's got booked, with the promise of a 3 week break next season to a destination of his and his families choosing, no expense spared.

We need him in at the very earliest opportunity.....

Ric has just posted that Pep and Arteta are due in this week to start planning etc.

The end of the season can't come quick enough. I can't wait to see what Pep does to us. I think he's in for a very bumpy ride from the media, they don't like it that he hasn't gone to Trafford. Some of the pre match pressers are going to be a bit volatile. I can't fucking wait.

I don't think any of them have the balls. Let's face it, Pep is football management God and I just can't imagine any reporter saying a negative word for fear of looking like a complete tool. Much safer to have their tongues down the back of his trousers.

He's already being described by one hack as a "one trick pony" The vitriol from the media next year will go up a level imo.

Here's not here yet is he. You may be right, but I'd be surprised. IMHO he's going to have us playing like Barca in about 5 games, and they are going to look very stupid indeed.

By the way, this is more than simple blind faith on my part. I think we have some truly outstanding players in our side, who have been performing woefully below their potential. With 2 or 3 top quality additions, and a renewed confidence, combined with someone who can actually COACH and who has tactical nouse to burn, and I think we are going to be awesome.

It's gonna take longer than that to get us playing how he likes. He's got to adjust to the Prem for a start. I'll certainly be giving him a years grace before I expect to seriously challenge for a trophy.

He's best just sticking to the training facilities for now just in case pellers has done a jimmy Boyle to the managers office.

Discussing Pep on talkshite in a few minutes. Marcotti defending him on Hawksbee and Jacobs.
