Neuer
Lahm-Kompany-Dante-Clichy
Schwienstieger - YToure
Robben - Silva - Ribery
Dzeko

Their system involves a target man...Dzeko in the Bundesliga, with that system would be awesome

How can you drop Muller?!
I know. Such an intelligent player.

Please! Thomas Mueller is everything but an intelligent player. He's an out and out grafter, who has intelligent players around him. In a team, you need your achitects to do the planning and thinking (Bastian Schweinsteiger). You need your bricklayers, plasters and carpenters to carry out the fine work (Ribery and Robben). Then you need your hod carriers, who do the grafting. Bit like worker bees and soldier ants. Thomas Mueller is one of these :) And he's a right whingin gob shite anall. How big is his gob?

How many of our side would get in Bayern Munich's ?

Silva, Aguero and Komps ?

That old chestnut?

How many Bayern players would get in City's team? It may depend as much on the way the Manager wants to play as pure ability.

He's one of the most intelligent players in world football when it comes to play off the ball. He's no Pirlo or Busquets, but they couldn't find space with the play behind them as he can. You underestimate him. He's also a fine finisher. One of the best.

Am not doubting he's a fantastic footballer. That he most definately is. His passion, will to win and his neck are his qualities. Never thought of him as an intelligent player. I don't really like the lad, coz he's forever whinging and is always after getting others sent off. However, because of his passion and work rate and as yo pointed out, his eye for goal; his name would always be one of the first on my team sheet.

As an all round package I can't think of many midfielders I'd rather have. Plays incredibly cleverly though, always in the right place - knows when to support and how but also know when to go for goal himself.

Aside from missing good wide players ans strength in depth (especially in AM) we also need to improve the speed of our counter attacks. Half of the rags goals come on the counter - we only managed two this season - both from Rodwell ( vs Chelsea &Norwich). We were simply too predictable with our slow build you play under Mancini.

-- Thu May 30, 2013 8:10 pm --

A free kick specialist is also required.

Byern have all of these things. we don't.

Robben couldn't get a game when both Müller and Kroos were fit. and i really wouldn't drop Martínez for Yaya, as Martínez has been immense this past two seasons and Yaya has been bang average this season.

I'd choose Clichy just because he's a City player but Alaba is just as good and i think a lot of neutrals would choose him.

Also looking at how hard Mandžukić works for the team i'm not sure Edin would displace him as his work rate is about 66% that of the Croatian's (see Juventus at home in the CL this season for a prime example).
