How to bulk up?

What's the best way to get rid of jiggly arm fat. I hate my arms they are like fat sausages

:D Well when you're closer to 40 than 30!

Since you asked.
Tricep extensions, Dumbbell kickbacks, Tricep dips. Use Youtube to get your form right and start with very light weights, high reps (18-25 per set, 5-7 sets) to burn fat and tone the arm.

That's exactly what I need thanks.

No such thing as 'spot reduction' really Bob, you need a calorie deficit in your diet (whether that be restricting calories, exercise induced, or a combination of both), you lose fat from all over your body as a result, not the area you work.

Already doing that but I just need some strength training for my upper body. I do crazy amounts of intense cardio with calorie control

Oh believe me I've lost fat. I was on steroids for a while so got quite a chub on me but the cardio has seen to that. Just want to be sure I'm not overlooking anything that could tone up my arms more.

At the moment I am not using anything. Been told my form is fine.

I find my wrists mainly hurt on dumbbell exercises eg Incline Press, Chest Press and Hammer Curls and so on.

Could the cause be getting them from the floor and into position mate ? Not normally an issue using a weight you're doing higher reps with, but on heavier sets it can be.

Other than that try some grip strength/wrist/forearm exercises, if you want to try some google 'Steve Gardener grip' (posts on our board), pretty much one of the top guys in the field.
The best thing for grip strength is rock climbing. Or at least look at some of the exercises climbers do to improve their grip. I enjoyed this video (in German but subtitled).

Quite funny seeing a huge muscular guy struggling to do the pull ups using the cannon ball grips.

I'll assume they were prescribed rather than actual anabolic/androgenic, in any case, a full body exercise regime as above will work all your muscle groups, just challenge yourself on it and rest no more than 60 seconds, and good luck.
Thanks and yes they were prescribed for an autoimmune disease. Hated them, they made me fat :(
On immune suppressants now that don't make me fat so I've slaved in the gym And it's worked well

Forced week off through living at work/birthday and feel like I've shrivelled away to nothing. Had a surprisingly good session last night though. Annoying that I'm having to cut into sauna time for extra strengthening work on my shoulder but I've been putting it off for too long - Hope these exercises the physio has given me fixes it properly.

Really under the weather this week so have decided to knock the gym on the head. Question is - continue to eat as normal or scale it back a bit?
