Cheers DH. Will try to spend more time pissing drink more!

At least you have a reason for it mate, I just end up going regardless of how much I've had to drink, proper pain in the arse, can't remember the last time I slepr right through.

How much are you on btw and have you increased it recently P ?

Yeah, upped it from 5g before and 5g after to 5g morning, noon and night.

You eat much red meat Quiet? Normally 10g a day enough will piss the rest out. Still a very effective product!

Arnie can't believe how much water people drink compared to his generation of bodybuilders haha .

Has a bad reputation, a lot of "coaches" taking weekend courses and then teaching people how to do Olympic lifting it can be dangerous.

But each to their own a lot of people enjoy it, so it cannot be that bad.

What are people's opinions of personal trainers?
Are they worth spending money on? And if so, how often and for how long ( as in how many weeks/months).
I know it will vary from person to person but just looking for a general idea

Good ones can be worth their weight in gold, as very few people are able to train with the same level of intensity alone. Problem is finding the good ones. Personally I think they can be great to get you off the ground with freeweights if you find them too intimidating, but not as a long term solution, especially for the price. Better off finding yourself a solid workout partner.

Was thinking of getting a PT to get some quicker results - and by quicker I mean instant as I'm impatient. Just joined back at a gym after a year out. Wanted to start running again but it just hasn't worked out so after losing lot of fitness and putting on a bit too much weight, I'm back at the gym. Been doing some classes to boost my fitness which have been good in a way, however they do mean that I can't plan anything to do myself properly because I don't know what will be doing in class tomorrow e.g. if i do squats today, I might end up doing a shit load of bodyweight squats tomorrow which would be bad on tired legs so don't do squats today. Instead, I just amble around doing something that takes my fancy but won't completely tire my muscles in case I'm doing them again the next day

If you're looking to lose weight the very first thing you need to get dialed in is the one thing you shouldn't really be paying a personal trainer for - Your diet! A great diet paired with even mediocre training will see the weight come off.

Diet is bad. Mainly because I drink far too much coke. Addicted to it and can't give up, I've tried many times.
Diet is pretty much the same every day as I'm very fussy eater, hence the lack of variety.
Breakfast - toasted muffin (the packet says oven bottom muffins so not debating muffins/barms! ) with chicken pate.
Dinner - large chicken breast with bit of nandos sauce and a banana
Tea - some sort of meat with some sort of potato and beans.
About 1.5l of coke a day.
