For muscle I find you can't beat 21's . You guys can probably tell me the modern name for these. In 1995 i was 14 st 4lbs and body fat 3-5% I used these at every training.Get a weight which you curled for say biceps curls 20KG 15KG and at the end of your work out get 50-66% of that weight. Curl it to halfway 90% angle 7 times . then from 90% angle to top 7 times. Then blast out another 7 full curls. I found this hit all parts of my muscle that i didn't know i had.
You can do these to bench press (use a spotter) ,sit ups ,anything. Hope this helps. Oh and get loads of protein post work out.
You had body fat of 3-5%? Find that extremely hard to believe sorry.
I didn't want to post this but sorry. In 1994/5 i was in my mid 20's I'm no Brad Pitt/ Leonardo DiCaprio look alike(People mistake me for Paul Merson nowadays) but when was this ripped for a year I was getting offers/flirting from girls way beyond what I would expect.
I had a job in computing, job in school , night worked in college . I spent most if not all of this on fancy supplements from magazines Testo Boost, Cort Block, Whey protein etc etc. Wasted all my wages on this stuff. I have a pair of 32 jeans which I can hardly fit my leg in now the smaller ones I've chucked.
MY diet excluding supplements was for 18 months. 3-4 Eggs breakfast, tuna/salmon salad lunch, chicken dinner.
I got a 6 month health check at my gym and she was strugging to get the calipers around me, So she looked at me and recorded it a 4%.
My advice to all those who want to bulk or get ripped. Go for something that's easy to maintain. Simple reason for me it wasn't.
