theres no easy way to letting go of somebody you love, but you need to do it for your own sanity,i lost my child my girlfriend and my home due to no fault of my own,i was very lovestruck for ages after,then one day i was picking my child up for the weekend and my ex said you cant come in she usually let me, i said why? she said i've got somebody in, from that moment i knew i had to let her go, it was the kick i needed, we get on great now as friends better in fact than when we were together.

She's holding on just in case she chickens out of bailing, but emotionally, she's out of the relationship.
I see both men and women do this constantly Instead of doing the humane thing all round and properly ending things, it's this long drawn out process where everyone ends up 10x more hurt.
Personally, I'd say cut contact. But that's a safety net on my part to stop myself going crazy wondering "what if".
Being able to check when she was last on her phone isn't healthy. Neither is actually checking.
