How to improve the atmosphere *yes this again

well for a start it would help if we didn't finish a game biting our nails to the quick.

Yer right, de niro. I find it very difficult to get into 'atmosphere mode' when Jole is fucking about at on the goal line aka Distin v Spurs, and Silva is playing cracking passes for and to Arse players.

The fans and players seem to be suffering from a hangover from last season. Everything's a bit low key after the title win. It was noticeable on sunday that the Arsenal fans clearly regarded it as a much bigger game than we did.

First issue is the types of songs, we chant not sing which means its not continuous and dies out very fast (means less chance of the "shy" people joining in.

This is with the exception of a few songs (YaYa/Kolo, never win at home). We need more repetitive songs to keep them going.

Second issue for me is seating, get over the fact we will never get safe standing but the idea of having a season ticket to a section (seats stay in to keep Elf & Safety happy) it would mean friends can all go and stand next to each other which spurs you on. I know this already happens a small extent but if the club embraced it we wouldn't be breaking rules because seas are still there.

Failing all the above get everyone to chip in for flights & tickets for say 100 Besiktas fans to come over each game & teach them our songs!!!

An Ultras section would be brilliant but we need to get good groups together that are located in the ground close together.Theres no good having 4 lads in block 111 and then 5 more lads 10 blocks away etc. Surely there is a good group of lads in the south stand or singers that can start gettin things goin? If these groups get things goin everybody else inbetween will also join in and it would spread. If safe standing was brought in where people could stand where they please all of us like minded fans could get together and create a great atmos.

We CAN be brilliant at times. I remember against Hamburg Jol said his players were set back and shaken by the noise we were making.

Come on.We need to get a good group together.If the BA has stopped but someone starts something else, the BA lot may get back into it and also join.

How do you get a block for "Ultras" imagine City asking a whole section of supports to move for a group?

BA hasnt stopped btw wait for Dortmund on Wednesday.

Edit: just to add I've asked this question to a lot of our vocal supports before and you'll be surprised how many of these people wouldn't want to relocate!

A 'Ultras section' can now only happen if they move the away fans and turn those remaining blocks into a Ultras section. Obviuosly we have missed the boat to do this now as season ticket holders have already got their seats etc.We would have to wait for the season to end to relocat.

Really pissed off that Ill miss the Dortmund game. Boss wouldnt let me have it off work as too many others are off.I really hope those that attend really turn it on. Sounded great against Real..

im there every week. i believe that it doesnt matter if u win or lose u must support ur team as much as u can,paok isn't even competing for the championship here. city is a great team u are lucky to live there, support the team as much as u can (a big city fan from greece).

What are your thoughts on my idea in my first post; tickets giving access to "sections" same as safe standing with the key difference being we still have seats.

Would be much easier to get groups together whilst keeping the club/officials happy

the ground layout is shit, the north stand at maine road was brilliant, one end, and everyone up for it (not all the time, but miles better than now), the 2/3 tiers are a killer.

hope we build a new stadium, we have outgrown this one.
