How UEFA shifted the goalposts on FFP. The definitive story.

Add mine to the voices of appreciation for this excellent article. Thank you PB.

I agree with those who think this deserves wider distribution. Also copy the club in, as this will make sure Der Spiegel get to see it also.

Thanks for the great feedback. It did take quite a while to get it into shape but it was Stuart Brennan who gave me the push to get it down on paper. He asked me about it so I jotted the basics down for him. Having done that I decided to set it out in a single document, once and for all.
I see you’ve not taken me up on my offer of a carafe of house wine in Lyon, worth airfare Shirley ;-) can’t wait to fully digest it and the train up to Newcastle is tedious so I’m saving it, see you soon.
Afterthought but will SB get the MEN to publish it ?

See, he`s not a bad Rag twat after all. ;)

A very clear summary of the process made more credible by the even-handed conclusion. Thank you for taking the time to post it.

I'll also add my thanks for the article. Not the easiest subject matter to read but you showed great skill in simplifying a complicated situation.

If no journalists responds to this then there is your answer to “agenda”.

Great work but for simple folk like who hand over 12 months paperwork & stares blankly when doing a tax return it all goes over my head.

All I know is accountancy seems to be a form of witch craft & the people slagging City off seem to think a “ducking stool” will find the answer.
