How would you describe your relationship with London?

Madame Tussauds is expensive and probably a bit naff.
Tower of London definitely, and the river ferry is a decent idea. Go down to Westminster and then walk round to Buckingham Palace, it's not far, and you can go past the Abbey or up Whitehall/Trafalgar Square/The Mall if you want. St James' Park (next to the Palace) is my favourite park in the centre.

EB's comments about the London Bridge area are spot on, and it's not far along to the Globe, Tate Modern and the Golden Hind replica.

Harrods is a bit further away, but doable. Never been there!

When it's raining, the British Museum may be a decent fallback to see what we've stolen, sorry, acquired from other places.

if it's fine of a evening, and you don't mind standing, the Globe will have evening performances for about £5 (may be a bit worthy for the kids!)

Great place to visit but only to visit, could not be arsed living there! It is probably the only place in the UK where you can't have a conversation about football with just about anyone.

Me and the Mrs lived in Hampstead for a while. Lovely spot. First weekend we moved in, saw Glenda Jackson in M&S, and Bill Oddie in my new local, The Magdela, which was where Ruth Ellis clipped her boyfriend. The following morn, round the corner I witnessed Liam G getting doorstepped by the Paparazzi after Nicole wossname bin bagged him.
Its like Fuckin Stella Street down there I'm tellin ya...

I love the place was an absolute amazing 7 years of my life living there and really changing my entire outlook on everything as I grew up.
It was time to leave when I hit 30 but wouldn't change my time for anything. Its the reason I am who I am today

Been living and working in it for almost 15 years now and love it, actually feel safer here than I do in loads of other cities. I must admit can get a bit lonely at times since split up with my ex but always plenty of stuff to see and do

I love Manchester to much. If Manchester had a subway system, comparable to London's it genuinely would be the best city in the world.

London is a huge rat race. Great if you're into that, but there's more than enough opportunity up North for me!
