How would you rate the last weeks results?

Some pundits forget a team has only 11 players on the pitch at any one time. Yes, a goal-hanging striker would score plenty but the number of chances created would be far less with fewer people working their nuts off for the team.

A hard working, team-orientated top class striker is another matter though.
What has been most impressive in the last three matches is the time during which a net could be thrown over 21 of the players in the game (apart from Eddi!) within 30 yards of the opposition goal and the way they are smothered and unable to get out of this postage stamp fraction of the pitch. MotD2 highlighted that Salah was playing right back at times! I don't think we could maintain that grinding pressure without a CF of outstanding quality and I think it's easier to get real quality players like KdB, Bernado, Grealish etc to attack our opponents' penalty area and six yard box than to fork out £150 million on a CF who would be able to play in our team.

Great performances but disappointed with results looking back. Liverpool & PSG We had more than enough chances to win them both & we could of scored more at Chelsea.

if we beat all 3 at our ground then incredible effort from the team

We are in a tremendous position considering how tough a start to the season we were handed. We are playing some amazing stuff and considering KDB and Foden are really only just getting fit, things look very very good for us.
We have played 2 title contenders away on not lost
We have also had a number of injuries
We are in a good place at the moment

In the early mini league between Title Contenders.

City - Win vs Chelsea (A) Draw vs Liverpool (A) = 4 pts

Liverpool - Draw vs Chelsea (H) Draw vs City (H) = 2pts

Chelsea - Lost vs City (H) Draw vs Liverpool (A) = 1pt

I think we've made quite a statement early doors and i would of took this all day long 10 days ago.

Sorry but i wasn't being disrespectful to the other title contender, i just don't think Brighton have a big enough squad

Mbappe would work well for us. A striker who is flexible and very mobile across the front free positions.

Just not sure I understand the lack of playing time for Torres in the last couple of games. Was playing well in the middle of the front line and that's what we've been crying out for in the last couple of games. Has he done something to upset Pep?
I put him in my FF team
