How would you rate the last weeks results?

Great week. Exciting matches and we more than held our own. I don’t agree that we need a Haaland type signing. Obviously it would be fantastic but city need to be going into the next 2 transfer windows with the aim of targeting Erling and another lesser know forward. Putting our eggs in 1 baskets for it not to materialise was a mistake(kane).

The team do an excellent job creating chances and if for example we had a Jota type player we would win a lot more games at a canter.

Not much to complain about tbh. Under the circumstances and with no forward the players and management are doing a fine job.

They wouldn't get in the team.

Gabriel Jesus is more than a reasonable striker. Sergio Aguero was fit for long stretches of last season and sat on the bench.

Unless they're world class, Pep's not going to drop Bernardo or Grealish to stick some number 9 in the XI.

Yep. This is also why Torres is currently on the bench. He's a cracking finisher, but Pep clearly wants more from him IMO. Ings isn't the answer. He's been a 1 goal in 3 games striker throughout his career and he hardly excels in terms of his overall game. He would be fine but no better than what we have now I reckon.

If you were asked to pick the 3 hardest away games in Europe at this moment in time, most if not all would pick Chelsea, PSG and Liverpool..

We played Chelsea off the park and could quite easily have won by 3 or 4 goals.

PSG with all their stars played like Burnley with 10 behind the ball and although we got beat our performance was outstanding.

Liverpool were completely dominated at home, especially in the first half and that's with their famous fans in attendance.

If the ref had some balls we'd have played all of the second half against 10 men and we'd have won..

Overall we showed this week that we're still, by a country mile, the team to beat,,!

I’d have taken three draws. So, pretty happy with the past 8 days.

Though another Southampton style display against Burnley and we’d undo some of that good work.
Same here, I'd have snatched the hand that offered 3 draws.

I'd have taken draws especially at Stamford Bridge and Anfield, given the outcome would be to keep us close to our main rivals while we sort the squad out following yet another messed up start to the season (injuries, players late back from international tournaments etc) that hardly ever seems to happen to our rivals.

To get not only a win and a draw for 4 points rather than 2, while making statement performances at both grounds, is a real bonus. In the context of a whole league season, this could prove to be a huge week for us. Let's hope it turns out to be so!

Shame about PSG but it is retrievable.. and they'll know they're in for one hell of a game at our gaff in a few weeks time!

the way we played deserves 8-9 out of 10, i didnt think we would end up with most possession & shots etc in all three games.

like many have said PSG was the game to lose, not to arsed, but we deserved more.

had scousers won sunday i think overall many of us would have said 4 out of ten. But we didnt and got a well deserved draw.

on results will give it 7 out of ten.

Absolutely delighted. Would have been satisfied with four points from the league games if it was offered in advance and the performances have been excellent.
Would have been great to get a result at PSG but it’s not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things. We’re still in control of our own destiny in the group - win all our games and we finish top. We’ve become accustomed to winning our CL groups comfortably but losing a game isn’t terminal. Teams have won the CL after losing a group game more often than people think.

Defoe and Keane are better finishers than Jesus.
A fit Aguero should have started but that was not the case for the last 2 seasons.
If the only players we can only sign are the Haalands and Kanes of this world, we may be waiting a long time.

You can loose 3 ,4 or more games in the Cl and still win the final. We are still in control. The league games has shown that we are the best team by a huge margin.

And shit at everything else compared to him, which is why they would struggle to get in the team for an EFL cup game.

It genuinely staggers me that people can watch Guardiola's City for 6 seasons now and think a fucking Jermaine Defoe type would get within 100 miles of this side.
