How would you rate the last weeks results?

There is nothing random about the fixtures and Spurs, Leicester, Chelsea and the Dippers away in a row early season, when the EPL, Sky etc. knew players wouldn’t be ready was designed to kill our challenge before it started. Look at the away games the rags and dippers have had by comparison. Well, the plan has failed, 7 points and we are still in it after a great week.

Any reasonable striker would score for us.
A modern day Robbie Keane or Jermaine Defoe would be putting away the chances today or Bernardos attempt against PSG. There has to be someone somewhere?
It doesn't have to be a Kane or a Haaland.

He was called Danny Ings. Was a no brainer in terms of both cost and his own playing expectations.

Performance's - They Died With Their Boots On.

Results -The Good,The Bad And The Ugly.

On a side note, I don't think Paris beat us 0 - 2 if it's a knockout game.

Performances 8/10
Results 7/10

the 2 league results i was more than happy with, and although disappointed with the PSG result it wont matter in the grand scheme of things

We got stitched up the PL computer programmers. It was no coincidence we got the PL fixtures we did either side of CL week. They must have been creaming themselves when it turned out to be PSG away.
But our approach to such a tough week was excellent, second to none. Watched Pep's press conference before the Chelsea game expecting loads of moaning about the fixtures. When he said it was a honour to be involved in such games I knew we had our eyes on the prize. Went to both Chelsea and Liverpool games and endured BTs coverage of PSG and we have been excellent and professional all week. Well done City

We need to start making hay now and put away these lesser teams and see where we are when it gets to January. We could have been 6 points off the top rather than 2 after Chelsea and Liverpool away, compare that to this time last year where we looked like relegation candidates not champions of England.

Anyone would take 4 points from Stamford Bridge and Anfield, regardless of how far the two fixtures are spread during the season.

Performance at PSG was fine, and the result is a free hit in the scheme of things.

Tough week, but we’ve bossed it. I doubt anyone else will get what we’ve got from Chelsea and Liverpool away.

Probably our two hardest league fixtures of the season and we’re undefeated. Taking three points at Stamford Bridge was immense. We were unlucky against Liverpool, with a shit ref yet still came back twice, showing great attitude. If we had a striker we’d have won that game too.

It’s so important that we now maintain that standard though, no slow complacent shit like Southampton game otherwise the effort against the top teams was wasted. Have to come back after the break and absolutely fucking destroy Burnley.
