How would you rate the last weeks results?

Any reasonable striker would score for us.
A modern day Robbie Keane or Jermaine Defoe would be putting away the chances today or Bernardos attempt against PSG. There has to be someone somewhere?
It doesn't have to be a Kane or a Haaland.

Seen this said a few times, but I think it's not that kind of chances that we should be concerned about. We've seen Aguero miss on the line before. That's not a finishing problem, just a freak occurrence, and that's what Bernardo's was. Any footballer of literally any level can score that, but it can also happen to any footballer too. We could sign Haaland and he will still miss an open goal one day. Just unlucky innit. It's the sort of half chances that Foden missed after Bernardo's pass against Liverpool that cost us. They're the real ones that are letting us down.

Being honest, how we performed, winning all 3 games wasn't out of the question, winning the games by 2 or 3 also not out of the question, our damn finishing is the reason why we have 4 points from a possible 9.

Of course, if you're going to pick one to lose then PSG is that one and most would have settled for a point at Klanfield but we did deserve so much more.

3 Great performances despite some poor officiating. These away games at Spurs, when we had 11 players missing from the squad, Leicester, Chelsea and Liverpool out of the way, could well help bring our Premier League title back to its home in our trophy cabinet.

Come on you Blues.

All about level of performance for me, which in all 3 games will have left our opponents thinking fuck me city are still the ones to beat regardless of the individual results.
We are currently the best out there, and for me one position short of being completely out on our own.

Very satisfied with the quality of our football and the results in the context of how I think the season as a whole will pan out. But only time will tell whether missing those chances at PSG and Liverpool will bite us on the arse.

Great results, even better performances. Time to start another run WWWWWWWWW, bring it on

Keep seeing this that an only half decent striker would score 40 goals for us. Well we had Sergio for 10 years and he never got anywhere near 40 goals in the league for us. He got 26 one season i think and under Pep he scored 21 in his best season. Suddenly Danny Ings is better than Jesus or Olly Watkins is better than Torres. Thats just not true and we very rarely miss chances where its a simple finish in front of goal that players like those quoted would thrive, we just dont play that way. Strikers for us seem to have to work so hard for their chances and that's why we need the absolute best.

They wouldn't get in the team.

Gabriel Jesus is more than a reasonable striker. Sergio Aguero was fit for long stretches of last season and sat on the bench.

Unless they're world class, Pep's not going to drop Bernardo or Grealish to stick some number 9 in the XI.
