Totally agree with everything you have advised. I read a lot of Inspirational books mainly to do with improving mindset. One technique I picked out was from Ollie Ollerton from SAS who dares wins who devises a clockface and basically puts 12 things to do each day and you read this everyday and make sure you carry out each task. For instance I’ve downloaded a meditation App called CALM which I carry out a session each morning, I exercise daily , I have 2 healthy juices full of veg and fruit , practice guitar for half hour and so on. My mind is always tickingI live alone and I’m not in a bubble with anyone so even though I have lots of people living close to me, it’s like being on a desert island most of the time.
A few tips: make lists, tick things off as you compete them from the list, sort out music playlists, exercise, stretch, watch some box sets, watch some films, cook well...eat well, write some memorable stories from your life down, look at old photos, read (I don’t ever really read personally, I’ve never read a book from the first word to the last ever! but some people love it), draw, keep the house/flat clean...
Basically keep yourself as busy as you can and you even strive for times of the day where you’re just sat there with your eyes shut having a res. The busier you are, you don’t even notice that you’re alone!
so important to have routines and treat each day as a new dawn.
Each to their own but if anyone wants any inspirational books look no further than ‘The Fear Bubble‘ by Ant Middleton from SAS who dares win. No exaggeration it has changed my life. Instead of dread in a Fearful situations I have adopted his technique to look forward to challenging situations . Just also read his other book called ‘Zero Negativity’ which is another good read
As mentioned above ‘The CALM app ‘ has also been a game changer . Doing a session each day on different meditations is a great way to relax and clear the mind. Can’t recommend it enough.
Stay safe blues and try to keep your spirits up!!
