Hughes Called Richards A ''F*cking D*ck''

How about this one from today's Guardian about Bobby Robson:

To assert authority in his early days at Portman Road, Bobby Robson had to fight a round with two of his players, Bill Baxter and Tommy Carroll. When the brawl was over Ipswich returned to its gin and tonic and its chivalry.

Before the punch-up, Carroll had demanded to see the club's patrician chairman, John Cobbold, with Robson, to demand more money. "So, Tommy, I believe you wanted to see me," said Cobbold, from behind his desk. "Well here I am, have a good look at me. There's the manager, over there [pointing at Robson]. He runs the club, so talk to him. Now I'm sodding off." Exit chairman, stage left.

Micah/Hughes isn't even handbags.

Micah had his best game for ages yesterday.

Maybe its because his form has returned

Maybe he likes the warm weather

Maybe he loves playing at Goodison, he has scored there in the past

Maybe he got a rocket from the boss

All speculation, so don't see how speculation is having a snide dig, it's how you have interpreted my inference.

i think micah is a good young player who has shown enough class to warrant being given a chance. he young, learning and the shit that gets hurled at him isnt going to encourage him to improve his performances.

And if you look at all my previous posts concerning players and manager have been along the lines of

a) the young players should be given time to develop and we as fans shouldn't get on their backs, and we may see them perform and improve as much as Ireland

and

b) the manager has to be given time to sort out the mindset the club has had over the past 5 years.

So what if its true some players need a kick up the ego, look at some of his performances this season, he needs to start focussing on his day job, not his part-time job and paying back the fans for their hard earned cash and support. If I had a wobbly everytime I was called a fuc**n dic* or simalar, it would never end. Even if I just count my close mates saying it.

Welcome to the real world Micah, now do a Stevie Ireland, get your football form and fitness back to scratch and get your England place back.

I tend to agree, if there is one person who deserves to be called a fucking dick its Micah 'I do a lot of work for charity' RIchards.

Why not make a hilarious video about it?

Are you going to put that EVERY time I make a post flower? and thanks, I might just do that, I appreciate your continued support.

Not too bothered if Hughes did have a go at Micah, I'm sure it happens all the time and can easily be smoothed over. And if player or manager couldn't cope with the odd verbal on the training ground then they probably have no place in professional football.

Will be quite annoyed if Micah is sold though, think it would be a big mistake.

I agree.

Though with Richards putting in his best performence of the season, I'm gonna guess, and I know this might be hard to believe, that the press have turned a disagreement into world war three.
