Hughes Called Richards A ''F*cking D*ck''

i think micah is a good young player who has shown enough class to warrant being given a chance. he young, learning and the shit that gets hurled at him isnt going to encourage him to improve his performances.

Well, he wasn't having shit hurled at him for the last few seasons - it's only been since he has been acting as a fucking dick that his change in form & abuse has started. Perhaps the abuse will encourage him to stop acting like a fucking dick & get his head down to prove that he is good enough for the premier league & then that he is good enough for City & eventually England - currently he isn`t good enough for all 3. He does have the potential to be good enough though - which is why he shouldn`t be cast aside just yet. One more season.

Not too bothered if Hughes did have a go at Micah, I'm sure it happens all the time and can easily be smoothed over. And if player or manager couldn't cope with the odd verbal on the training ground then they probably have no place in professional football.

Will be quite annoyed if Micah is sold though, think it would be a big mistake.

agree 100%.

especially with the 6+5 rumblings, we wouldn't want to lose a player like Micah, irrespective of this season's performances; neither would we want to lose some of our other playing staff.

As with drivel in the newspapers which often turns out to be wrong I think I will choose to consider the statement of " fact " here as an opinion and no more.

( " In general, Mark Hughes is not liked by the players. That much is true." )

Unless the writer is prepared to list all the players who don't like him I think it is a suspect fact

And anybody who knows any of the players, their wives, friends or relatives or whatever will tell you the same.

I dont like my boss, still work my arse off though. Its down to the player to pull his tripe out if he wants to be part of the revolution. Judging by yesterdays performance, Micah is giving it some serious thought.

There is that.

I think Hughes would be the first to say that it's not his job to be liked

His job is to manager the players and get the best from them. To do that he does not need to be liked by them but he does need to be respected by them.

I think Richards has been fantastic for us for a few seasons but has been seriously of form this season.I just hope he can take a leaf out of Stevie Irelands book and then we might see the real Michah Richards again.

The players are soft arses these days. When their not playing well its someone elses fault. For fucks sake Micah been lasting 60 minutes in a game, then he runs out of gas. Thats hardly the managers fault.
