Hughes Called Richards A ''F*cking D*ck''

In general, Mark Hughes is not liked by the players. That much is true.

And anybody who knows any of the players, their wives, friends or relatives or whatever will tell you the same.

I dont like my boss, still work my arse off though. Its down to the player to pull his tripe out if he wants to be part of the revolution. Judging by yesterdays performance, Micah is giving it some serious thought.

There is that.

I think Hughes would be the first to say that it's not his job to be liked

Not too bothered if Hughes did have a go at Micah, I'm sure it happens all the time and can easily be smoothed over. And if player or manager couldn't cope with the odd verbal on the training ground then they probably have no place in professional football.

Will be quite annoyed if Micah is sold though, think it would be a big mistake.

I agree.

Though with Richards putting in his best performence of the season, I'm gonna guess, and I know this might be hard to believe, that the press have turned a disagreement into world war three.

Agreed..and having done a search around in the media there is even a quote from Richards sayings its been blown out of all proportions.
In the end like lost things though; one camp will read what they want into it, and the other will view it as they see fit.
What cant be changed though is that City have won the last 3 matches, and yesterdays performance was good, even from Richards.....
...and when our season could have fizzled out after our UEFA exit, its still alive, thanks to some good performaances all round!

This is what Micah had to say on his website:

The win and Micah’s solid performance was welcome relief given the pre-match speculation regarding a disagreement between Micah and Hughes, and the defender was quick to play down talk of a rift.

“What happened was blown out of all proportion, but the result and performance will say enough – that was key today,” Micah concluded.

“There’s absolutely no problem between me and the gaffer [Hughes]. We’re both winners and want the club to progress and be successful, and it was more passion than anything, and was a misunderstanding.”

there you go..never stops the journos from their stories though..

and I`m sure people will start chipping in with "..he`s been told to say that etc..."

to be honest i`m sure they had a brief row...we all do, its human, and i`m sure it happens a lot in training in football teams. Its just more of a story with City though :)

I think what Hughes needs to do is make the Zone around the Training area a no go area for press and supporters.
I know we have good reports/updates from various posters that go around the vicinity of the training area from time to time which are great.
But in order to eliminate this from happening again that exclusion zone needs to stretch wider.
Personally I reckon this incident is just a disagrement, I think it helps in the long run as the result showed yesterday that the players and manager care. You get it in all walks of life even at the work place.

I also think that Richards has got a bit full of his own self importance and needs a reality check, he is still a class player but his standards have dropped and it's up to him to react like Ireland and get back to the standard he was at - and better.

Absolutely. I am often told from 'within' that he is not liked by most, if not all, of the club's employees for his arrogance. But if he gets the best out of the players and, as appears to be the case, ADUG have a lot of time for him, then why should he or us care?
