We look a different side. Toure better. Petrov better. Richards better. Barry better. New manager syndrome will undoubtedly be the excuse of hughes fans but its obious how much better we are set up. We have balance and have clear been instructed to move the ball quicker and pass not hoof it forward and hope. Hughes leaving has made my Christmas and i am once again excited about our future.

Great.

Hughes got us to a semi final. Much more than any other manager in the last 20 years ever did.

Let's thank him and move on.

Very petty by the OP. Hughes has laid the foundations. A lot of those players out there tonight were signed by him. Try getting some perspective on things.

Not petty spot on by the original poster. Face facts Hughes did a shit job. We had the second worst defence in the league going into this game. When was the last time Hughes kept back to back clean sheets and won 3 games on the spin. Obviously Mancini doesnt fancy passing up the opportunity of a life time unlike Hughes.

Maybe you should look at things in perspective before you post. So pleased Hughes has gone and very pleased with how it was handled personally.

Agree we need to move on now, but the difference in the teams shape, organization and style of play after only a week has amazed me. And that's without bridge, lescott, Swp, adebayor and rsc.

Better tactics, better coaching, better support staff its there for all to see. People need to accept facts Hughes did a shit job. Had to go I dont know any city fans that disagrees with this at the end of the day.

Perspective means looking at the wider picture.Okay, Hughes wasn't the most tactically aware (if you look at my earlier post, I never said he was) but, like it or not, he did buy in most of those players who were playing tonight. For that he should be thanked, not have constant digs aimed at him. You Hughes outers got your wish; there's no need to keep sniping at our former manager.

Maybe YOU should look at what has transpired over the last 18 months. Hughes got us to sixth and to a semi final.

You can talk all you want about money etc etc but the fact is Hughes did what he was asked to do.

It takes a bit of dignity to say thank you and then move on.

It also takes a bit of dignity to admit you were wrong. He did a bad job, terrible in fact considering what he was given.

You try and put a negative spin on another excellent result. Maybe you should concentrate on a brilliant performance and the new manager that produced it rather than clutching at straws trying to justify the previous flawed regime and those trying to damage our club?

Still amazes me that people that claim to support city would try and be negative and try and take the gloss of what is another excellent result. I thing people should focus on what is best for the club, I really dont want to hear about MH again TBH.
