Hughes is to blame

Hughes only solution during the game seems to be to stand on the line shouting "hey more dynamic"...whatever that means. He has to be one of the worst managers in my 50 years of watching City...and there have been a few.

Yes Hughes should have won both headers for their goals and should definitely have scored instead of htting the post!
 
I used to always jump on the hughes out band wagon when we lost. but lets face it were 10th in the league.

we are in a european cup quarter final.

so even if we dont make it into the final which i hope we do. then it is something to build on next year.

It was only a miracle that miss firing Arsenal did not run up a 5 or 6 goal score line, all this on the biggest week in our clubs recent history.

Those players out there today looked like they did not give a shit and played at a walking pace; it hardly fills one with confidence in anticipation of Thursdays match.

The Hamburg representative in the stands must be rubbing his hands.

I hope our luck continues, but I think it is about to run out.

I am not on about the defeat, as you rightly point out it is Arsenal.

I am on about the manner of the defeat, you know not turning up and prancing around the pitch like it was a fcuking exhibition match, so frequent are these away defeats it almost looks like the side goes out to play for damage limitation, see how few goals they can concede during a defeat, we might as well start forfeiting 3 points in away games and save our loyal traveling fans a few quid if the players cant be arsed even putting a shift in during the defeats.


As I said in my post praise be to Arsenal for being so wasteful in front of goal, because we could be quite easily traveling to Germany on the back of our worst defeat of the entire season..

I am not saying that this is right but if the performance was as poor as you suggest, could it not be as simple as we basically have one eye on Thursday?

Was it the worse managerial display TM you've ever seen?
 
He's got a fair few things wrong this season but I think it's just some people's natural reaction now to blame Hughes for every defeat, regardless of how the game actually was.

If he stays next season, he won't avoid stick unless he wins all 38 games, and even then he'll probably still have done something wrong.
