I really think we are now beginning to turn the corner & Mark Hughes influence is starting to show.
Why?
He named the best starting 11 he could today and I dont think anybody could argue otherwise.
I think everybody could argue otherwise
We didnt play the best, but neither did blackburn - they did however get 2 scrappy, battling Bolton goals - typical of Big Sam and thank god we dont watch that every week.
We do watch that every week, long ball, hopeful football. Exactly the same and their gaols weren't scrapping IMO, just piss poorly defended
Bringing vassell's battling qualities and the skill and quality of sturridge made the difference.
I didn't see Vassell get a touch and Sturridge should get far more starts than he does.
Everybody always slates hughes on here for his subs and tatics not having an impact.
I think you will find they were playing to save his job, I am no master of body language, but did you see him celebrate the equaliser?
Well today it did, 2-0 and we got a draw thanks to Sturridge, Robinho and Hughes.
We got draw....against the team at the bottom of the table....have a wank.
Feels like a win and proves we are not a soft touch on the road anymore (hopefully).
Feels more like a draw to me and a stuffy one point
Is anyone else pleased??
Well I'm not...no. (Perhaps you guessed that)
