If it means the riddance of Hughes, I'm happy. You backed Hughes and the problem is that's a short term view. Long term, the man doesn't have the skills of man management.

You're chopping and changing your opinion a fair bit, lately. Is this you retracting your laying the blame at Elano's door now, as well, Bill???

What an utter load of shit....fucking garbage...."Long term, the man doesn't have the skills of man management."

Forgive me if I take the word of some of the first team squad rather than a little man with little man syndrome...

Fucking Elano, Jo, Robinho...players should tow the line or get the fuck out.

Bill, there's no way on earth that Hughes is swinging for either the Kaka deal or Robbie going missing...it's clear to anyone with even a quarter of a brain that the owners have faith in what Hughes is doing...in fact, I do as well...

Anyway, FWIW, I think Robbie will be back for the Newcastle game...

You know the more I read of what you have to 'offer', the more I realise it's YOU with the 'little man syndrome' as that's all you can ever say! Have you been bullied by a girl in your past life? As a teen have you had your sweeties snatched away by a 5 year old??

Elano and Rob are match winners. They make the openings in order for us to score in games, otherwise there'd be no guile in the team... Which would make us the likes of Blackburn who smash their way to win a game or two.

This is your vision for Man City.

IF the owners are looking for us to follow Hughes' blueprint, why ARE we trying lure the top players in the world to the club NOW, instead of 2 years down the line, when we're 'more competitive'?? He won't BE at the helm next season, for fooking sure. They've listened to the media and caved into the pressure of the British manager sh*te and it's not working how they want it. Come summer, they'll do it their way, listening to no one.

Give your head a serious wobble, cos you don't ever make sense.

Knob.

I agree. Nobody is emerging from this with any credit.
Including fans who give the impression the sine qua non of football is being Brazilian. The Panini sticker album attitude displayed by fans is going to cost us.

Robbinho is not that good and we were well-warned about hs mental attitude when he signed, but chose to ignore it or minimize it, because he's Brazilian, he's a genius (whatever), and he wears a blue shirt.

It's not about Robinho or Elano or Jo v Hughes, it's about of player v manager. Robinho was a statement of intent, that's all. He, above any, is a mercenary of global proportions, don't flatter yourselves by pretending otherwise. The world has players as good as him, and we can afford to move for them: we've been talking about them on this forum since the Arabs took over.

We don't have to take guff from any player, and we should't take it because it serves the temporary purpose of affording a stick to beat the current manager with.

Totally agree with this.

Now is the time for Mark Hughes to show some balls. Prove he can actually manage at the highest levels. If the accusations/rumours are true, then...

Drop Robinho to the reserves... bring in 3 or 4 TOP players (Arshavin, Palacios, De Rossi..) and show the players who's boss. Make ANY new players (and current ones) realise that there are no guarantees.

We have the money. We need to make a statement oif intent about this this club is going to be run.

Unfortunately, I don't think Hughes is up to it... I hope I'm wrong.

You're an idiot with Napoleon syndrome...that's my opinion.

You have been trying to blame every single negative at City on Mark Hughes...

You are ignoring the fact that our best performing first team players at the club are delighted with the new "professional" City...you are basing your opinions on an armchair knowledge of Blackburn...

Take your own inflated head for a wobble...

Hughes is here to stay quite clearly...hopefully idiots like you will either got on board come the summer or fuck off and support Arsenal...

Nice work Billy

Hughes HAS to go, simple as that. We cannot attract the kind of players we're aiming for with this man in charge and if one or two big players do come for the £ how long can Hughes keep them happy for?

I'm not blaming directly for Kaka not signing though if we had a Mourinho type in charge we WOULD have more chance nor would we be seen as such a small club by the media and other clubs. Also, I don't know what's happened with Robbie but whatever the reason you don't storm off after an arguement and he should be treated the same as everybody else, ie disciplined!

I'm not convinced he can take us anywhere other than 6th place in 3 seasons to be perfectly honest. He's spent tens of millions on a squad that finished 9th and potentially made us worse. And don't tell me he's suffered with injuries because so did Eriksson and so does every other manager in the league. I'll continue to scream and shout at COMS, which is more than can be said for most, but I now hope we ditch Hughes in the summer.

And this is how stupid you are. Players will often say how good the current manager is. that manager picks the team. What is private is another matter. It's funny how you say some of the 'best performing first team players say such things. Ireland is one. The truth is many of the players said the same thing about Sven. Why, they nearly went on strike about things.

Can you tell me which one of the team may throw themselves onto swords in light of Hughes' departure? In fact, remind me when the time has come, yeah? I care not for Blackburn. They haven't changed their method of play. Unless you'd like school me differently from the side of their pitch... or your own armchair. Dick.

There are many pitfalls around Hughes, so assuming he's "here to stay quite clearly" is probably the most idiotic thing I've read on here.

Talk about inflated opinions!!

Okay, let me put it another way...not just Ireland, but a nucleus of our best performing players believe Hughes IS the man to take this club forward. "Sven was like a mate. Really nice guy. But training was a joke. Under Hughes the club is being run professionally for the first time since I joined."

How's that for a ringing endorsement. Not to a journalist, but to a friend. Respectfully, you should STFU about Hughes' training methods, tactics, et al unless you are privy to the inner working of MCFC, which I doubt you are...

If you call me white, it won't make me white. No matter how many times you say it.

As I've said many times on here, you've got little man syndrome...and every time I say it, you behave like a little man...
