Don't think it's Hiddink or Mourinho as they would be almost universally welcomed, even if they may not be people's first choice. My money's on Mancini. I like him. He plays an attacking brand of football, and has already enjoyed significant success elsewhere. As someone else posted earlier, this appointment (if it happens), would probably suggest that Mourinho has been asked and said no, so even though he would have been my first choice, I'd swing behind this appointment as something needs doing to stop this season becoming a right off.

I posted a topic about 1 month ago saying all this about Hiddink til' end of season, Jose in at the summer if you remeber? now its all coming out! Hiddink is happy and would suit him to come until end of the year.

I'm one of the few who knows tolmie personally outside the forum and i can tell you it's always in good faith, however this time, and I know who your alluding to, I believe the info to be erroneous (from your source that is). As i've stated before, the media has no inns at city anymore, simply put the info is now stretched to meet the climate, thus amplifying public reaction and causing mischief. I believe he'l go, but certainly not until a) the CCup is ironed out (try sacking a man who has got you to our 1st domestic final in nigh on 30 years) b) we see our position come jan 1st...........

I have to agree. Its clearly the anti city press pushing their agenda to destabalise the club before a crucial game. It makes no sense to get rid of him now. In the leage teh damage is done. We are still in the cups changing manager in January wont effect the outcome of our season -it will gurantee we wont finish in the top 6 were as at the moment we have at least a decent chance still if we get our act together.

As I have always said Hughes needs to win a cup AND finish in the top 6 or get top 4 (Not going to happen now) or he will loose his job - next summer though.

Attention seeking? Maybe. But why post something that will be clearly proved incorrect in 24 hours? Yes I know he will probably blame his source, but he'll get crucified on here regardless. Worth the temporary time in the Bluemoon spotlight? I think not.
