hearing we have a new manager...an announcement sooner rather than later - doesn't matter how many we smash past Sunderland.

Can't say at this point who it is, but will divide opinion, I'm sure.

Will divide opinion? Rafa anyone?

Interesting. Rafa has a better pedigree than Hughes. However the football is poor and he buys dross. So yes he would divide opinion I reckon.

Re: it's done

I was hoping Hughes would do what Keegan did with the England job and just be honest and admit that the jobs just too big for him.I think we can all see through whats happening with one player after another paying Hughes compliments.I've seen it before and it's a sure sign that someones going to get a size 9 arabian sandal in his arse. You say its going to divide opinion, this appointment,if true..........Its not fucking megson is it?

Shambles from the club if it's true. A dripping of leaked information on the day of a game, amateur. Whoever has leaked this should be sacked immediately.

This.

I can't believe our owners would be so stupid to change manager mid-season.

When Russia got knocked out of the World Cup it seemed Hiddink would become available, but that avenue seems to have closed. There are no obvious alternatives. I can't believe our owners would change manager and gamble on a manager with a questionable pedigree. I'm always worried on match-day. Not a good start to the day

Does Mancini come in this category? He is after all available. Apparently a friend of Khaldoun.
Questionable? Absolutely. I could manage Inter to success in that era

Re: it's done

Interestingly Mancini has only been a free agent since the end of October this year as he was still negotiating his formal contract settlement with Inter.

If its going to divide opinion its not mourinho.

I don't think there are enough Mouriniho nay-sayers to constitute a significant division. It's a very small minority, I bet. Ask Chelski fans about Mouriniho and most of them won't have a bad word to say.

He's a dead man walking as far as i'm concerned, but all this talk hrs before a game isnt good.

Exactly this whole thing just spells of the press trying to destabalise the club before a make or break game TBH. Its clear there is an agenda against city in the media. I want Hughes out but not this way, personally I think it would be better to wait until the summer and get someone top draw in. Changing manager now wont get us into the championsleague or even europe. Changing things mid season is more likely to make our form worse IMO.

I have to agree with this, i'm dead against Hughes but the next manager we get in has to be here for the next 5 years. So imo we may as well stick with what we have and bring in a world class manager rather than get some other numpty in. Christ i'm shiting myself now i've got visions of Garry Cooke going out and getting us someone really bad like Steve Bruce.

Agree....he`s been shite ever since he composed the pink panther

Got to agree mate, if the owners are serious we need to be getting someone like Ennio Morricone.

Re: it's done

Always been a fan of Wenger, just a little not a lot, he get respect from his players. However Im still in with Keep Hughes till the summer, and see where we are. For we are Sailing Give Hughes A Chance.

Rafa tends to buy quality player at expensive price. If you give him enough money, he may turn good.

I can't believe our owners would be so stupid to change manager mid-season.

Exactly this is bollocks same with the press articles. It would damage their investment and at the end of the day its a uneccessary risk. They have given him this long another few months willmake no difference.

I cant see any chance they would take a chance on getting rid of him midseason, they would have to compromise big time on his replacement and in the short term results could even get worse.

If he doesnt acheive their objectives they will get rid in the summer.
