Brilliant if true, just to show that there are some foreign owners with patience and a bit of common sense, who don't expect immediate success from a new manager and new squad which has been thrown together in a few months. Forward with ADUG!

Com'on mate, Judge him since jan with his new buys. We are building a very good team which is also very young and half new to the prem. Like a said earlier whats the point on getting off to a flying but also a bit lucky with Sven, just to tumble. The big changes Hughes has had to make will have the effects next season.
Also top scorers in lge(or 2nd) 2nd best home record and last 16 of Uefa cup!

Above all our club requires stability, from all I can glean Hughes has been making some big changes in the club that have upset some people who are used to a culture of sub mediocrity, the metaphor to me is gardening, you have to put in the spade work before your garden will bear fruit.

We could go out in the next round and have a bad run in the league where we finish in the bottom half, which with the team he has would be shocking and we would be like the banks, rewarding failure. We could also win the Uefa cup and finish 7th which IMO would be deserving of a new contract.
What i am saying is, he has achieved nothing so far and with the squad we have and the funds at his disposal a good run in the Uefa Cup and a high place finish should be expected. Lets wait until the end of the season to decide if he should deserve a new contract.
It's not like he is coming to the end of his contract is it? He only signed one in May. Let him earn it first.
