hahaha I like paddy power
A lot of blues have had bad experiences at Stoke. That tends to shape opinion. The club seems to have more than it's fair share of idiots following it.I don't get this myth about stoke being rough, its a bloody great place. There are scrubbers in every town in the UK, but compared to places like liverpool who in years gone by have attracted world class players, stoke is the mysterious city of gold. I guess ignorance is bliss.
Training ground at clayton wood is surrounded by countryside, and is certainly in one of the better parts of stoke just off newcastle.
Bigger cities are rougher by far.
I was in Stoke today and I disagree with much of this post. Stoke might not have the same level of gun crime as some larger cities' urban jungles, but it has more than its share of severe problems particular to itself: the prevalence of 'monkey dust' use among its underclass being a prime example.I don't get this myth about stoke being rough, its a bloody great place. Big cities, even Liverpool, have an energy about themselves which smaller cities like Stoke cannot emulate.
In its own way, Stoke is as bad, if not worse than Liverpool in many respects.
