Hughes chose Chad over Sturridge and was obsessed with RSC, never get over losing Sturr he was immense.
I don't think we've missed him tbh, and his ego is even bigger than his sicknote.

I was in Stoke today and I disagree with much of this post. Stoke might not have the same level of gun crime as some larger cities' urban jungles, but it has more than its share of severe problems particular to itself: the prevalence of 'monkey dust' use among its underclass being a prime example.
Big cities, even Liverpool, have an energy about themselves which smaller cities like Stoke cannot emulate.
In its own way, Stoke is as bad, if not worse than Liverpool in many respects.

He had a poor injury record in the youth team, can't blame the dippers for that one.At the time we could have used him, only reason he is injured now is because dippers rush him back. Him and Sterling would be lovely haha.
Where did I mention poverty? Don't see any former mining towns on that list, but they house the among the worst heroin addiction problems in the country. Social issues are not simply related to such crude yardsticks as income.Absolute rubbish.
Poorest places in england 2014
1. Toxteth (East) Liverpool
2. Shaw Road, Oldham
3. Anfield, Liverpool
4. Collyhurst, Manchester
5. Kirkholt, Rochdale
6. Toxteth (West), Liverpool
7. Heyworth Street, Liverpool
8. Queens Road, Liverpool
9. South Shore, Blackpool
10. Cannon Park, Middlesbrough
Funny that nowhere in stoke to be seen, but plenty of liverpool...and with poverty comes social issues.
Many of the players who play for the manchester clubs/liverpool/stoke, are very likely living in cheshire anyway, which borders all three area's. Cheshire being the 2nd richest place in england.
But to say stoke is as bad, or worse, than liverpool is beyond ridiculous.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bath_salts_(drug)I thought I was 'down wit da kids' but obviously not, because I haven't got a fucking clue what monkey dust is.
I can virtually guarantee that I deal with people on the 'wrong side of the tracks' far more than you do. Every single day. Don't assume because I have a masterful command of English that I'm not streetwise. I'm certain anyone who's met me on this board will confirm what I'm saying in relation to that.Compare bentilee with places like toxteth...
What is ignorant about what you are saying is that something that is bog standard in any really bad city,(a drug dealer oh my!)which wouldn't even make the news in such places or they would be reporting 24/7, is big enough of a deal to make the news in stoke. That tells you something. The lad had a class b drug in his possession, some scales, and £290 in cash on him!!! holy jesus thats the bust of the year!
Toxteth in liverpool, handsworth in birmingham, hackney in london, even moss side in your very own manchester make our rough places seem utterly insignificant. Lets see a one off drug dealer getting arrested(with £290 cash no less) making a headlines in any of those places regional news.
Poverty absolutely has everything to do with social issues, if you don't agree with this then you have never been the wrong side of the tracks imo...personally i think america have it right in that regard.
Every place that is classed as a city "has significant social issues that are manifest", nowhere is invulnerable to this in the UK. But stoke i'd say is way off most of the bigger cities, whilst there are many lovely places in and around it. The surrounding area is absolutely lush.
