I wanted to post this just after the match but the site went down, so sorry if this has been said 100 times tonight already, but here's my input anyway....
These players aren't up for it and aren't good enough. They have no confidence and belief as they feel their time is up and they are getting replaced.
Maybe the players are being crap so we can't attract better players, meaning they stay with the club and carry on being the wide boys that they think they are.
Have you seen that it's Hughes signings and Ireland who are our best players? The rest of them were shockingly shit under Sven too, and don't give all that bollocks we were good under Sven. We were lucky first half of the season and then 2nd half we were sooo light weight and laid back.
These players should be running their bollocks off for the team, they should be half dead at full time for the money they earn and the size of the fan base and club that makes them.
I'm pretty sure Blackburn were shit for the first few months under Hughes until he was able to bring in his own players in with the drive, energy and determination to succeed. Not like these bunch of fannies we have at the moment.
Yes, Hughes is a former Rag, I hated him as a player. However he is now the manager of my football team who I do believe will get it right with his own players, not the wannabees we have now.
Given time and to bring in his own players, he will get it right.

Are you serious?? We have pretty much all the players we had last season, yet Sven didn't do this badly and he got the boot...and Sven didnt have Robinho, SWP and Kompany (and Ireland who has been like a new signing)!!
Hughes is f**king this club up! Get him out now!! Get Sven back!!

Mate, seriously, Sven was not the one many think he was. Yeah, we played good football until all the teams worked us out. We scraped some 1-0 wins at the start of the season and had our honeymoon period, and then by the second half of the season teams with fight knew how to beat us. We lost to lower teams, teams who were up for a battle. We were gash under Sven mate. We would have been in this position if not worse under Sven this season. We were soft, laid back and far too relaxed. You can't have that style or mentality in the Premier League.
Its rare for a player to play for the club and not for their salaries!! Gerrard is literally the only player I can think of off the top of my head who actually loves his club!?
Hughes can't go out and play himself, I appreciate that! But he couldnt get his team up for the derby! and now he cant get them up for the fa cup! what is he actually doing?? not alot! Yet we're all still happy to give him another six months, where have to turn up week in, week out to watch shit and pay money for it!! no thanks!! Hughes Out!!
