Hull (a) Post Match Thread

Very happy with that. 3-0 away from home and a clean sheet despite not being at full strength and losing Stones early. It's still some way-off from where we want to be, but nevertheless we have much to appreciate and even more to look forward to. Well done City!

Yup, and pleasingly we've won ugly 3 or 4 times now this season. A good habit to have. I long for a big bully of a centre half though, just to stop the opposition building any kind of momentum and to allow us to keep the squeeze on at the other end.

We are a little bit lightweight at times but Toure being back helps and we have plenty of height for set pieces. Defence have been much better recently. I only thought Nolito was a bit off today. All the rest were ok to good. Toure MOM for me for his control closely followed by De Bruyne.

what gets on my tits was the commentary said you have to be complimentary for the way hull played, they didn't play ,we played kept our rhythm passed and moved them all over the pitch first half ,they had a go in the first 10 mins of the 2nd half but once we took control again we saw them off. Brilliant all round display.

I think it was Jamie 'ever so' Catflapp, who said that Hull didn't deserve that result.

Wrong.

They might not have deserved the score line - and that's open to debate - but they certainly deserved to lose.

Toure gives us so much 'presence' in that engine room. He was MotM for me against Arsenal and he was MotM again today

Same here. I believe we have the arsenal disease of wanting to walk it in.

I am hoping pep takes it to the next level and starts forcing defensive errors by constantly pumping it into the box where anything could happen. But currently we piss around the area until we lose the ball

That's a problem with a specific solution...Gabriel Jesus.

Don't know how nolito gets look in to be honest he just isnt good enough much prefer Navas . We looked much better when kelechi came on. We need aguero back in making the runs to stretch teams.also think we need another midfielder in the window
Yeah, I mean, six goals to none? Nolito over Navas no question.

Quality last 20 mins. Thankfully Sagna was on the line for the inevitable Bravo cockup.

What an idiotic statement.

Claudio had no choice, but to come out for that ball, and Bacary, being the experienced professional that he is, saw the danger and covered the goal line.

It's called teamwork.
