Hull city rebranded

But how fucked off would you feel if the Shiekh changed our name to 'The Manchester Eagles'?
Give us a clue, why Eagles? - The relevance being that Hull City's nickname is "the tigers", probably because of their kit though some seem to be struggling with that. The closest would be us becoming Manchester Citizens or Manchester Blues.

Or simply 'Manchester FC'. No other major clubs play in that city.

Makes no difference. No one called them 'Hull City AFC' and no one will call them 'Hull City Tigers'.

Have you looked at our badge recently? Also, he's referring to the trend to often try to anthropomorphise teams for nicknames.

How about The Manchester Three Stars?

How about the Tottenham Rent Boys?

I know that's a term usually associated with Chelsea but I've noticed your club bending over when United flash the cash at an alarming rate. It's like you're their feeder club. Kind of like us and Arsenal.

Twice in 125 years is an alarming rate?

Have a quiet word with yourself, son.

Carrick and Berbatov, is that it? I'm astonished. It must be on the field I'm thinking of.

You did bend over and get royally shafted over Berbatov though. In fact, I'd go as far as t say you were donkey punched.

£30,750,000 for Berbatov & £18,600,000 for Carrick is being "Royally shafted"?

And Spurs took four points out of six off United last season.

No, the transfer fee was quite good. However, rejecting a bid, refusing a club permission to talk to your player then watching as that club's manager picks him up, asks him to lie down in the back of a car and drives him to their ground live on telly then not reporting all this and instead accepting the inevitable and signing all the relevant paperwork is, in my opinion, getting royally shafted.
