Anyone who has been on BM for more than a week or two should be aware that even the most serious threads in 'Off Topic' tend to attract puns after a while.

It's the nature of the beast. Give people an opportunity to express dark humour and they'll express dark humour.
If you don't like it, ignore it. Block the 'offenders' etc, it's easy.

It's a thread in a sub-forum of a football forum on the Internet, available to all. Surely you can't honestly expect everyone to play nicely?

People are dying in Gaza, Haiti, Burma (Myanmar) in this country you have children killing animals with catapults just to put on YouTube, adults trafficked into the sex trade and of course this story.
It's just a way of dealing with it so you don't become a depressed pill popping old fart sat in a darkened room mumbling to yourself about the good old days.
