Thats not emotion it's science
Stuffing my face with choc and cake is emotional,i do a lot of that

Also if you eat large meals your stomach expands and so you feel hungry more quickly. You can remedy this quite easily but it takes either discipline or circumstance. I did a few survival courses in my RAF days and qualified as a combat survival and rescue officer. What it taught me amongst other things was that you can go for a very long time without any food so long as you have water and also after 2 weeks of virtually no food half a sandwich fills you up!

Just try a couple of weeks of very small meals. Half the volume you currently eat. You should find that after 3-4 days you stop feeling starving all the time and after a couple of weeks you start feeling full more quickly and for longer.

Failing that you can have surgery these days that achieves the same thing until you stretch what remains of your stomach to the same volume as your previous complete stomach.

Bit heavy on the carbs but should be enough to fill you up
Add some snacks inbetween perhaps
or your'e just a greedy git:)
