Hunt for missing 3 year old (Body Found)

Re: Hunt for missing 3 year old in Edinburgh

has anyone checked the mccann's whereabouts?...

(I hang my head in shame and suspect that the poor chap will either be floating in the sea or worse, though I am sure the conspiracy theorists will be out in force)

Why wasnt he sleeping in the same room as his sister as usual on this night of all nights?

I thought exactly the same. Why was something, that is usually just routine, different on that night of all nights?

I smell something fishy with this whole story.

Funny how everyone turns into Inspector Clouseau when a child goes missing these days...

Friends of ours had a scare a few years ago with their youngster.

It was a normal morning until they found the front door open and their toddler had gone

Long story short, a motorist stopped her car and was with him at the side of the main road
The lad wanted to drive his car to work like his daddy and apparently was following a bus on the road sat on the back of his toy car
The lady motorist saw him and stopped

Serious question, especially for the blokes on here. If you saw a toddler on the main road on the back of his toy car during rush hour, would you stop or would you carry onwards in case you were accused of being a nonce?

Driving down the road many years ago I drove round a bend on a busy suburban road and a baby was crawling across the road! I stopped obviously (emergency stop) and picked up the baby who was probably about 1. There was no-one around but a row of terraced houses adjacent one of which had an open gate and front door so using my investigative instincts i soon figured that was the likely residence and took the baby up to the front door where a worried looking woman came running panic stricken and grabbed the baby off me before giving me a filthy look when I told her what happened and then slamming the door in my face without a word of thanks. I almost wished I'd let her baby carrying on crawling about in the fucking road the ungrateful woman.

Almost exactly the same same story as Balti.

The toddler was about 18 months and I didn't need to do an emergency stop. It was also a couple of roads away from my home and I knew the parents slightly so I didn't get any funny looks.

My mum still reminds of that tale to this day.

Re: Hunt for missing 3 year old in Edinburgh

The main door to the flat has to be activated by pressing a button. It is at a height that a 3 year old would find difficult to use. There is a cctv camera pointed at the front door. I presume the police have the footage from that camera but they haven't got a body so no one will be charged just yet.

Perhaps the sister had been having nightmares and wanted to sleep with mum?
