Same here. I carried a knife, we all did in those days, part of living in Wythenshawe. People would get stabbed for a fiver at the cash machine in those days.Has Britain hit a funny place or are bots and misinformation flooding social media telling people it has? Gang culture in City's has risen for sure but I don't recognise what I see on social media as the same as what I see walking about.
even 35 years ago there were kids in my school with knives, blades and bats. very rarely translated into anything mind you.
There absolutely are bad actors on social media trying to whip up shit in the UK, trying to make it seem worse than it is and im 100% convinced Russia is doing a lot of it.
Our school regularly got weapons together to go fight poundswick high school.
We used to wag school and go into Manchester to the Chinese martial arts shop to buy nunchuks and throwing stars especially.
