Now a lot more of this incident is known I have been thinking how 1 person with a knife can cause so much terror on a train.
It's going to be hard to comprehend how anyone would feel or react in that situation and it's understandable how most people would freeze or run if they could.
But, we all know the layout of the train it happened on. Seats either side of a narrow aisle.
Once he has passed seats, admittedly slashing his knife around, he is vulnerable to an attack from behind.
One hard push and he's on the floor.
Let's say for example, it's a train with lots of football fans mixed in with other passengers. If someone ran through shouting bollocks and is obviously trouble, I doubt he would have got very far, knife or no knife.
I can see 2 things coming from this, the travelling public being inconvenienced further, and paying more for tickets to pay for extra staff.
Not trying to be arsey at all, just trying to understand.
I must admit though, some of the passengers interviews have come across like youtubers or influencers.
I wasn't comfortable watching them tbh and prefer the facts delivered from a reporter rather than these eye witness accounts.
I'm surprised the interviews have been allowed to be broadcast actually considering the **** was arrested and charged.
