It could still be, to be fair, but even if it was Muslim related, that doesn't mean it represents the religion or it's millions of peaceful followers. It's funny how people don't hold the same standard when it comes to anything else in life. We don't blame Christianity and its followers for it's paedo priests or anything mad Christians do in the name of their god. Everything Muslim related gets highlighted now. Ever since 9-11. People even highlight the bad things in the Quran whilst ignoring all the atrocities and evil in the bible.

Now you’re telling me two things. Firstly around my analysis that there is distinction between facts and statistics: that evaluation is ultimately a matter of perception, between what is a fact and what is a statistic. I can live with that because it’s a philosophical point.

And in my personal experience, over the last half decade, knife crime is definitely up. And possession of knives is definitely more prevalent.

This comes after the usual, initial speculation, and just like with the Liverpool title celebrations, there is now feverish back-tracking from people desperate for such incidents to have been committed by certain ethnic/religious groups. Since when did a paper feel that the skin colour of attackers already in custody is worthy of mention, and why on earth is that so?
This is how the press helps scheming politicians to divide the nation.

Apologies. I was slightly drunk and over emotional. I like to think of myself as generally rational. Just with a young family and working next to Picadilly gardens the reality scares me. When I was younger my parents always said to look out for lads stealing your phone. (That would now be best case scenario if something was too happen)

The idea of getting news of something to either my 4 year old or pregnant Mrs who works in London terrifies me. I dont want to point score. I just want the our country to be safe.

I saw an anaology before which may be wrong but they compared pigeons and swans. What we see right and what others see right will differ.

I have a brother who's gay. Would those who come over from Islamic belief be tolerant to him and his sexual persuasion. Id assume not?

Yes, I acknowledged that it was not 'diverted' in a subsequent post. I was unaware that trains ran from Doncaster to London King's Cross without stopping, though. Thank you.

Eyewitness accounts are harrowing.

Trains were not running between Darlington and Doncaster so it was effectively the 1400 from Edinburgh to Darlington then coach to Doncaster then onto this "special" train.
