Just googled that town - right on the coast.... let's hope it's died down before it reaches the Panhandle

Nice and calm here. Although I am only say 5 miles from the eastern edge of the inner bay, I'm 40 miles from the Gulf itself So that offers me a little more protection than Clearwater and St Pete gets.
In the process of moving the garden furniture into the shed, I'm all ready stocked up on water and cans of beans etc. Got a fair few candles, batteries and phone chargers in case we lose the lecky.
Going to Orlando airport tomorrow to pick my daughter up.

Just talking to a barman, he says Tuesday now for the storm, your daughter should be ok. Was windy this morning but nothing more than a breeze (warm one at that) early evening. Been to Indian Rocks and St Pete’s today, last day tomorrow, then back to sunny Ashton, fingers crossed for you.
