I suppose you could argue it’s an excuse for him not yet responding to the allegations (which is entirely up to him if he chooses to or not anyway), not anything else though.

The only person he’s answerable to here is his wife.

Not saying that’s the case here or owt but can easily be.

The article where he talks about his journey with depression is in Men’s Health. Interview with Alistair Campbell. Read it then come back and tell me he’s been in hospital.

I said it was likely. Does he say he has never been in hospital? Or is he sharing but not giving all the details?

He’s hid behind his wife , but hours before in the press it said “he’s angry at the allegations”
So who’s put the statement out ?
Listen mate , I will never ever play down mental issues , we have all suffered with them from time to time.
This , is a BBC cover up , and it’s as simple as that- and a good orchestrated one at that.

He’s buying himself time and that’s it , it’s the BBC hoping it will go away , and tbf , Schofield has become yesterdays news , and you know what , at least he fronted the allegations, not hide behind his wife , very well orchestrated by the BBC
