Surely his time is up

So finally the penny seems to be dropping re Hughes.

With me it has never been about the points. It is the performances over the last year and a half.

Sometimes with Sven I could see a point to it all. Especially early on where we played some quite sophisticated football. With Hughes I have never had this feeling. Yes there have been one or two decent performances mainly centering around Ireland, Robinho and Elano. But overall it has been shambolic.

And I am glad that the majority are beginning to agree. Last week I said that all three games coming up were winnable. Hull obviously, Arsenal's kids and Chelsea at home. And if we won all three I would shut up about Hughes. However he fell at the first fence.

He has to go. I just hope that our owner has his finger on the trigger.

Thanks for the sarcasm guys.

But this is a forum and like many I like to put the occasional post just to vent my frustration with what I see going on or should I say not going on with the club I love.

Re: Surely his time is up

i don't think performances have been that bad.

I think in a lot of the games we've drawn we deserved to win but we just couldn't finish the game off but we're learning a team doesn't grow over night.

I believe if we keep the faith with the players (make one or two additions) and with the manager(?) then in a years time when we got 2-1 up at anfield we'll see it out we wont concede 3 goals at home to burnley, we just need time to grow and gel as a team

Re: Surely his time is up

replace a few draws with wins ... Fulham.... Hull
replace a few with loses.... Liverpoo and Villa...
What real difference? other then they have a scalp and we have 2 extra points..
So do Villa and Poo
There are never any games that are bankers as we find out every season

Manure losing to Burnley!!! Sack Baconface!!

We r in 6th... 1 point from 5th... game in hand and we are going/gone through our bad spell..

My god... what is it with the knee jerk reaction of the hughes haters.. If at the end of the 38 games and 2 cups then we can decide on IN or OUT.

Not 12 games in and in 6th

Or....
We beat Hull 5-1 at home
12 months and £200 million later we draw 1-1 at home to Hull
Make one or two more additions and in 12 months time we lose 0-2 at home to Hull
At least we could call it progress I suppose.

Re: Surely his time is up

I dont think the fact we have not seen City win a league game since September is a knee jerk reaction
The man is out of his depth
