I got it in the neck for not liking Bob Dylan

I can barely muster the energy to defend Bob Dylan, it shouldn't need doing.

Lyrically he's been matched but never bettered, so what if he doesn't have a good voice? conventionally good voices are a dime a dozen and extremely uninteresting. I dare say Katherine Jenkins has got an amazing voice but she has fuck all to say and is essentially some tits and arse for the opera crowd who wouldn't buy a Girls Aloud album.

Dylan is up there.

Well she does have a nicer arse than Bob Dylan.

True but I've never bought an album based on the niceness of the artist's anus.

If the question was 'who would you pork, Dylan or Jenkins' then Jenkins wins hands down. But if we're talking talent, charisma, artistry, wit or intelligence then it's little Mr Robby Z!

Yeah, but porking Katherine Jenkins beats talking about talent, charisma, wit or intelligence.
Seriously,I love some of Dylan's stuff; probably defined the original protest song and sparked numerous covers from some of the best artists in the world.Joan Baez and the Byrds being just a couple. Voice like a stone trapped under a door though.

I like his voice, it's not conventionally brilliant but then most artists aren't.

The greatest artist of all time.

Singing's not all about holding notes, man
So; let me get this right. To be a good singer, you don't have to be able to actually, er, sing?

Riiiight.

Stop being a pedantic arse he said artist, now go and calm down with your live in Rio video and leave BOB and The Moz alone.
