I hope if we don't win the league, the management looks at the progress we have made and sticks with Mancini.

Win or not, we are on the right track.

Rubbish. The team have made no progress and he admits not preparing for a match. As for sticking with Mancini if we don't win the title - are you crazy, or his wife?
350m and no trophy is completely unnacceptable.

And you're stupid enough to believe him?....Reading your other posts you most probably are.

I think Mancini is hamstrung at the moment. He's had to put up with a lot of players who he didn't sign and doesn't want. Once the likes of tevez, adebayor, bridge, santa cruz, etc have gone off the wage bill he'll be given more freedom to complete his squad. Lets not forget that when mourinho was at chelski, he didn't have the squad restriction that is in place now. The 4 players I've just mentioned equate to roughly 25 million in wages per year. Last season, I'll admit, I was pissed off with our style of play under Bob and thought he wasn't the man for us. This season however, without a non-english speaking, wantaway, selfish "captain" hogging every single half chance, we've passed it around better and played as a team.
I'm starting to think that mourinho is the tevez of the management world. A badge kisser. Great when he first rocks up, then starts throwing hissy fits and gets itchy feet. Mancini isn't the kind of man to throw the towel in, as his previous positions have proved. Bringing tevez back into the starting line up would take us back to the turgid dross of last season. Sacking Mancini would take us back to the utter crap hughes left us in.

Very good post, amazed at the ones calling for Mancini's head, unbelievable that your wanting this to happen for just losing a match!!!! [ dont need to say to me that we played rubbish ect, or Mancini is being to predictable, I listen to the match on the BBC's oversea's radio ], yea lets go ahead and dismantle this good side thats been brought together, and let me say that I was there in 1977 watching us get pip to the title by a point, people's expectations this season are right through the roof, we are not the finished product we have a way to go, but saying lets sack Mancini already is stupid, Mancini is the one to take us ahead, Mourinho is just a walking circus.................

ANY Manager in ANY walk of life who admits not preparing for an important bit of business deserves the sack. Mancini showed utter contempt and arrogance towards Everton and our supporters who DID prepare to do their bit last night. I've never heard anything like it.
Im spitting feathers over this!

Did you 69 a chicken or sommat ??

Thankfully we have our owner who will make that decision and not a drama queen from the local theatre group.

The team choices specially the subs were a total joke last night. Personally i think The board have told Mancini, Tevez is coming back and they will have to find a way of working together. Even Kia and Tevez know he can't stay and not train until the summer so get used to the fact he will be coming back and very soon.

Not saying he will play anytime soon and i think Bobby will make it as hard as possible to have to play him until he is fully 100% fit (which could take 6-8 weeks anyway).

It's a win win for me Tevez will come back and get match fit then he could play and help us win some matches or when he goes in the summer he will be worth more as he will be ready for pre-season training.

Fook all this shit if it helps us win the league or Euro cup i would be happy to see Tevez play again.

/me tin hat on...

Anyone who thinks Mancini is close to or should be sacked is out of their minds, has got us to the best position for many many years and unless I am mistaken guided us to a first trophy for years whilst beating united in the semis. Admittedly form at the mo is shaky but YaYa will be back soon, pizarro in support and we will be back in form no problem. Befor everton we were top of the form league!!!

Back the manager FFS, we are top of the league and watching some of the best football we have ever seen, certainly in my lifetime as I am 35 and didn't get to see the good old days.

Come on city, we can do it

although there are question marks regarding his man management skills, i think he's the man for the job. lets face it, we have been incredibly unlucky with refereeing decisions in the last 6 games. if the officials had done their jobs properly we wouldn't be having this discussion.

He's successfully managed some of the most volatile players in the world including Balotelli, Ibrahimovic, Figo, Nuno Gomes, Crespo, Stam and Lopez.

His man management is only called into question by people who had no idea who he was before he came here.
