He will cost us the league title and I will always remain convinced that there are many, many managers out there who would have had us challenging for the title last year and at least eight points clear this year given the resources Mancini has had.

I think Mancini is hamstrung at the moment. He's had to put up with a lot of players who he didn't sign and doesn't want. Once the likes of tevez, adebayor, bridge, santa cruz, etc have gone off the wage bill he'll be given more freedom to complete his squad. Lets not forget that when mourinho was at chelski, he didn't have the squad restriction that is in place now. The 4 players I've just mentioned equate to roughly 25 million in wages per year. Last season, I'll admit, I was pissed off with our style of play under Bob and thought he wasn't the man for us. This season however, without a non-english speaking, wantaway, selfish "captain" hogging every single half chance, we've passed it around better and played as a team.
I'm starting to think that mourinho is the tevez of the management world. A badge kisser. Great when he first rocks up, then starts throwing hissy fits and gets itchy feet. Mancini isn't the kind of man to throw the towel in, as his previous positions have proved. Bringing tevez back into the starting line up would take us back to the turgid dross of last season. Sacking Mancini would take us back to the utter crap hughes left us in.

Brilliant just my thoughts too. He hasnt finished and this summer could be very interesting in terms of ins and outs.

It's tosh. He's had plenty of time and money to build his team, and the players he inherited weren't bad. This season is far from over, and I still think we'll win the league. But if we don't, "work in progress" won't cut it with me, or, I believe, in Abu Dhabi.

I'd say taking us from 9th to 5th to 3rd (with an FA cup win ) to currently top is a season on season improvement in anybodys language. I KNOW we finished 3rd and won the FA cup. I KNOW we are top of the league with most goals scored, least conceded. You THINK somebody else could do a better job.

He has spent fortune on quality players and to lose the league to the weakest Man u team in 10+ years who had their captain and best CB injured pretty much all season is not good enough. With going out early in all three cups, the league is the only thing that can save his job

although there are question marks regarding his man management skills, i think he's the man for the job. lets face it, we have been incredibly unlucky with refereeing decisions in the last 6 games. if the officials had done their jobs properly we wouldn't be having this discussion.

He's successfully managed some of the most volatile players in the world including Balotelli, Ibrahimovic, Figo, Nuno Gomes, Crespo, Stam and Lopez.

His man management is only called into question by people who had no idea who he was before he came here.

well he took the heat of the players and put the heat on himself. mancini is not in a position to take the heat of the players when there's question marks about him more than the players. It was just a weird thing to say I thought Everton away was gonna be easier. i think we have something like 1 win in 14 over there. If City dont win the league, its all mancinis fault.
