I hate to say it

People seem to conveniently forget this. If I was running the club, he'd get at least 2 or 3 goes at it before I considered pulling the trigger. He has to come close, but only one team can actually win it each year, so if we miss out by a whisker then so be it.

EXACTLY. there is a reason only 4 teams have won it since the Premiership began and that is because it is F*cking EASY to win. Not to mention the two months of shocking officials, the squad seems a little off the pace. But the beauty is that if we finish second this year, i'm sure Mancini will tweak and we will come back even stronger next year.

Some people really don't seem to understand the massive upheaval that changing a manager has on a football club.

But with a squad as good as ours,we could end up with fuck all, then questions have to and will be asked

It dont matter that its our "first" attempt at the title, doesnt matter a fucking jot,as for missing out by a whisker then so be it ????
Do me a favour

Of course it fucking matters.

United know what it takes to win the league. As a squad, we don't yet. What I mean is our players really don't know how much it takes. And that's big. Massive even, if you will.

Bar Yaya, most of our signings were from second-tier clubs and have never won a league with their clubs. They are learning that you have to give everything and grind out results in any way possible on those cold January nights.

There is a formula to becoming champions, and our players are learning it.

I don't understand why questions have to be asked ? We have no devine right to win this league just because we have built an excellent squad. How many of our squad have won the Premier League before ? Its important to see how we fare now in the begining of the run in until the end of the season, and see how the team players now the pressure is really on. Now is when you learn if some of these players have what it takes to win the league.

For me its all about patience, I think Mancini has misjudged a few players and that we will likely see 2 or 3 leave in the summer and be replaced, this is the growth and development of his squad.

Like i say, if we don't win it this year it will be painful as we have come so far, however i think that in the long run it will stand us in good stead in terms of experience and it will give us things to learn from, and that is why i am confident that if it is not this year, then next year we will win the league.

-- Wed Feb 01, 2012 7:46 am --

Well if you've been following us for 30 fucking years, you'd realise that sacking the manager at every opportunity achieves fuck all.

This is the first season the manager has had a full squad of his own players that are capable of challenging for the title. To fire him for falling just short at the first attempt would be insanity as it would set the club back yet another 3 years and have catastrophic consequences for FFP.

Yes your rite,I have seen fucking loads and loads of managers sacked at City, and you right again,it achieves fuck all,but theres one big difference between this manager and ones that have tried and failed in the past...............a multi million packed full of international squad.

At the end of the day we can have a go at eachother about this forever, which again will achieve fuck all.(well maybe a ban if I get too excited),I aint saying I want the guy to be sacked, cause I still firmly believe we will win the league, but am afraid thats his only hope in my opinion of keeping it....and that includes Tevez playing his part as well
