Re: Sunderland v Manchester City Pre Match Discussion Thread

with yesterdays results, a win at Sunderland and a minimum of a draw with Liverpool will be great results. I believe theres a full squad available to Mancini so no reason why a minimum of 4points shouldn't be guaranteed.
I'd go 4-5-1 (Dzeko) at Sunderland and 4-4-2 (Aguero and Balotelli) at home against Liverpool. Come on the Blues!

Huge game now today!! 3 points required today and as strong a team as possible please!! Worry about Liverpool when this game is done!! One game at a time and we need to take this chance that has been given to us.

+1

Start with strogest 11 today. If things are going well, Silva off at 60 minues. Worry about Liverpool on Monday morning - can't predict who will and who will not have niggles/tight muscles.

Could be the pivotal weekend of the Premier League season. Time to be positive!

cum on city, we really need this after rags losing and spurs being held, will boost our confidence no end, think it be a matter of patience to break them down as im sure they park the bus, 2-0 im hoping

We were handed a gift yesterday so we better not fuck up. If we put our all in, we could be 6 clear on Tuesday night. We must play our fucking hearts out and march to glory

Exactly, and we know from when we missed out to the spuds how hard it is chasing down a lead. Also consider that the Rags defence is f*cked and they will have one eye on the Derby on Sunday and i feel they will struggle against the bar codes.

Especially when you see we have to play the bigger teams at home rather than away. 100 points, who knows, could well be a possibility.
90 will easily win it.

10 points should have been enough for us in the Champions League. So, I hope we get as many points as we can. I hope we don't settle for less than 3 points. Come on City!

I think United will quite comfortably reach 90 points this season along with Spurs reaching the 80+ mark... We need 100 points+ if we are to win the league this year with at least a 5 to 10 point gap around april!

the rags play Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs away from home and the dippers at home in the next 7 league games, i cant see them getting more than 7 points from them. i think they will be lucky to finish with more than 85 points this season.

Re: Sunderland v Manchester City Pre Match Discussion Thread

i dont think rags will hit 90 points this season tbh, their defence is all at sea, their main midefield carrick is more out that playing, nani is havin a mare of a season, now there looks like some in fighting, personally 80+ but not 90
but they have a habit of picking up points playing badly, today is the day we need to step up and open a 3 points gap again, losing Yaya is gona be a major blow for us, i know we have strength in deep with barry, but hes no yaya, we are more of a htreat with yaya pushed up.
these are sorts of games that are a must win and win good to show our winning credentials

Re: Sunderland v Manchester City Pre Match Discussion Thread

These next 2 games are so important its unreal. If we can get 6 points I can see Newcastle doing the rags at their place too.

Imagine 6 points ahead and they have to go to the majority of the top teams grounds.
