I know for a fact that city are signing Peter Crouch

I hope we don't get him. Fair enough, he seems to have the knack of scoring for England but 51 Premier League goals in 184 appearances isn't that good a record.

Besides, he looks funny.
 
good player, but not outstanding (which is what we should be aiming for ).
if anything crouch should have been signed in january after crcoky santa cruz bid failed. that was a no brainer for me.
but not now we should be aiming higher, and we probabaly are
 
If we're in for Dzeko, I doubt we'd even be looking at Crouch (unless he's a plan B to look at if we don't land Edin). Plus, he'd hardly come to us for impact purposes and/or wages when you take into account Pompey's new owners and the fact he'll probably be the preferred striker there.
 
No he's truly not very good. If he was good he would be at a better club than Pompey. IF we are looking to break into the top season and win something next season playing him upfront will not help. Im sure people would rather have Tevez and Eto.
