I Know It’s Over

Result hapoen...

However the performances are the reason we will struggle to win anything this year.

The team looks tired....notably running and pressing less.

Complete lack of creativity

Defensively ( and not just the back 4) we are all over the place

A small squad has been strained to the point of breaking and now its broken.....Pep is yhe only person that could turn it round but listening to him you can tell at yhe moment he doesn't believe he has the players to do it...

Those hoping that KDB is the answer are in for a rude awakening....he ( like Waller) is so far away from being even close to the level he can be and needs to be. Its going to take a mammoth effort from both Pep and others to sort it out and I personally think it's not possible...kdb gundo, walker are all on their last legs...add the continous issue of stones being injury prone and it adds up to the solution of needing an overhaul and transitional seaaon

The only way ‘it’s over’ is if we get shafted by the 115. Beating the PL cartel is the only trophy we must win this season. Whilst we have been superhuman during the majority of Pep’s reign - what we are seeing now is what the majority of fans experience most years (apart from being 2nd in the PL that is !). The 115 is an existential threat to our club. A set of poor results is disappointing but no more than that. CTID.

Chuck delap, Rodgers and lavia in with them as well, some serious talent that's been shifted, all well and good getting loads of cash for academy lads but when it's leaving a squad as bare as ours then maybe something needs looking at
I thought about the very same today as well. How we could do with some of those players now!

The lack of goals is a massive concern. Our 4 top scorers in the league last season was;
Haaland 27
Foden 19
Alvarez 11
Rodri 8

Ones left, ones out for the season and the 3rd hasn’t scored a goal in the league yet. Haaland obvs the only one who’s putting up the numbers. Unless the others drastically start scoring I would doubt how we win the league tbh.

The action man cord pulled and "He wanted to go" He wanted to go".
Yeah clearly so - but says something about our persuasive powers and foresight. Simply regurgitating the same old line suggests the same is innevitable in future and no lessons could be learned.
