went to old firm game in early 80's atmosphere was amazing
the sheer hatred of the fans was unbelievable- like nothing i've experienced in england

also got chased out of Ibrox after city lost to southampton 13-12 on penalties rangers hibs was the next me on in a 4 team tournament when the rangers fans realised we were city fans they wanted to kill us
it's the first time i've jumped the turnstiles to get out of a ground lol

As I said before, this is the first one I'm missing at the piggery in 6 years. The one difference you'll see between the OF & the Manc derby is that you see the away fans & the segregation area is far far smaller than at the OF.

The OF has the atmosphere & hatred inside, but if you think back 10-15 years the fear you felt going to an OF game in case you met the tims (in your case huns) on the way - that's the way it is at City, but even more so at OT with a complete lack of segregation outside.

PS I've just stuck my daft £20 double on City & Rangers after saying all week I wasn't going to do it.
