I've a feeling that our derbies our going to be just as troublesome as the Glasgow derbies from now on.The rags are on the decline and they know it.The realisation of our rise coinciding with their fall is a very bitter pill for them to swallow.
aye,as long as no Jocks turn up eh.
You've got me all wrong TTTCITYBHOY.I only hate 2 "jocks".Baconface and fletcher.Oh hang on,macari and crerand aswell. It's only rags I have a special hatred for, nothing to do with nationality.

On another note, does anyone know if the Manchester or Mary D's will show the first half of the OF game before the Memorial service?
The Manchester has been closed last few games. There's a chance they might show it at D's

Would love to go to an Old Firm game, same with Barca-Madrid and River Plate-Boca.

Hope this thread doesn't descend into the usual tedious sectarianism.

Done the old firm (dad's side are Scotts) and Barca V's Madrid (lads mum lived in both places as a student so visited a lot) both excellent n worth the effort but... Nothing beats United at City for me! God I love Manchester derby day.

-- Sun Oct 24, 2010 1:05 am --

Would dearly love to go to all these games too - wouldn't mind a Milan or Rome derby either.

Been to Ibrox in '87 to watch the old firm game and I can honestly say I shit myself,my mates boss was a bluenose and he sorted out the tickets then we lost him in the ground.
We started getting sussed as we were the only ones not singing the sash,so we moved places and then a bloke asked me for a light, told him I didn't smoke and the accent gave us away big time,we had to do one again.
Don't remember much about the match, just tried to stay out of mither, getting back to the digs was a nightmare with all the segregation and not knowing where we were going, stayed out of the pubs as it seemed a recipe for disaster.
You would think we would have learned our lesson, but went back for an England vs Scotland game, and virtually had the same experience as Chelsea had threatened to take Hampden, and the jocks were trying to suss out any english and give to them.

obvoiusly want city to win more than rangers... excuse the drunkeness!

but come on rangers!

I have been to Parkhead and Ibrox for an Old Firm game.Sat in the home end both times, both times the game finished level.Surprised at lack of trouble outside the grounds.all the trouble now seems to be in towns and villages throughout Scotland now.
Anyway Hearts and Hibs on New Years day is the main derby in Scotland.Plus Hearts v Celtic is where the real hatred is now.I do not look forward to that fixture anymore,a fixture that seems to attract the morons from both set of fans.

I've been to a couple of Old Firm games... went to the Scottish Cup Final in 1990 (I think?) when Celtic won 1-0, and I went about 8 years ago with one of the posters on here (You know who you are!)... another 1-0 win for Celtic (Larsson scored).

Great atmospheres. As I sat in the Celtic End for the second game, I swear the stadium actually moved when they started singing at the start of the game!

Coming from a "Rangers tradition" I seem to be a fucking jinx for the Teddy Bears!

But I wrote an article on the last Old Firm game I went to and was absolutely trashed by the Rangers fanzine Follow, Follow, for daring to give Celtic any credit! I think they thought I was a Tim!

Any one on here been to a Greenock Morton vrs St Mirren game ?
Been told by a few people now that this game is worse than the O/F games !
